Questions

Common questions

What happened to Notice to Reader?
It was replaced by compilation engagements (CSRS 4200) for periods ending on or after December 14, 2021. The purpose is similar, with more transparency about how the statements were prepared.
Does my corporation need financial statements?
Your corporation’s T2 return has to include its financial statement information, so most corporations have statements prepared at each year-end. Your bank may also ask for them.
How long does it take?
Once we have your complete year-end records, usually a few weeks. Getting your records to us early in the year keeps things moving.
What’s included in a compilation?
Your balance sheet and income statement (and other statements where needed), a note describing the basis of accounting used, and our compilation engagement report.
